Seth Capron
Seth was elected to the Board in 2022 and is serving his first term which will continue until December 2026.
Seth moved to Aromas in 1970, working as a studio potter, builder and contractor before a twenty-seven year career in nonprofit low income affordable housing development. Seth and his wife Jane Rekedal raised their two daughters in Aromas.
Seth has served in leadership roles in the Aromas Service Club, the Aromas Eagles, Friends of the Anzar Hills, Aromas Cares for the Environment (ACE) and the Aromas Progressive Action League (APAL). He is currently focused on climate crisis issues and the electrification of everything. He chairs the Central Coast Community Energy Community Advisory Board and sits on the San Benito County Housing Advisory Committee. Water is life. Contact Seth here.
